Soy Candle Giveaway from Oil of Gladness Candles

Oil of Gladness just recently started making soy candles. I have burnt several of them and I love them. They have 2 sizes the small one has 1 wick (this is the one we're giving away) and there is a larger one that has 2 wicks. They have 13 different scents to choose from.

I think one of the coolest things is that they are all a white/cream color (except for rasp. lemonade which is a light yellow). There is no color added. This way you can buy the candle for the scent and not just so it matches your decor! It makes it easier for gifts too!

Here is a couple candle tips...

1- Always keep your wick trimmed - around 1/8" - 1/4" is a good length. You should trim after each time you burn it.

2- Always burn your candle until it's completely melted from the edges. For this giveaway candle, burn between 2-3 hours each time.

Great CVS Trip

It's been awhile since I've had anything exciting to report from CVS! Well today I was in picking up a some poison ivy relief for hubby when a

$20./$100. printed out of the scanner!

I've didn't even know these existed...

I thought there's no way with the deals this week I can make this pay, but I was up to the challenge! I went home to make a plan. Here's what went back and got...

I ended up with all this for $11.95 (used a gift card so no $$$ oop!!)...WOW at one point when she was ringing it up, it was over $140.xx!!! (made me a little nervous)

I paid $2. each for the pop making those $6. (had $2./3 MQ) and $5. for the milk= $11.00 --- Which means everything else you see here was FREE!! Actually 1 pop was free too since I made 2 ecb!!

This makes me SMILE!!!

I used 24.xx ecb and got back 26.xx in ecb! I should have gotten back another 1.58 for the grass. It didn't print, but I won't complain!!

Spring Cleaning - Office Area

This is my office area (above pic). It has a roll top so you can't see the inside contents of the desk when it's down. It definitely needs some work and organizing. The desk is right inside our front door so the top usually becomes the catch all! We need to work on that!

I hate to post these horrible pics...but here they are!
Along with the desk area, I am also going to be working on our extra room. This used to be where my desk was. It also used to be where my 2 yr. old slept. We just moved him upstairs so now I can totally have my room back.
We don't have a garage or a basement so a storage room like this is badly needed!

We are having a garage sale next week so hopefully by Saturday this room will look very different!

I think I'm being optimistic this week, but I will just get as far as I can. I'm giving myself until Saturday to get this all done. So I will update then.

Potty Training - DONE

Here's my sweetie Pie! We started potty training exactly 1 week ago. I'm excited and proud to announce that it's done. He's potty trained totally! I can't hardly believe it went that quick and easy! He's been dry for 4-5 mornings and he is even going to the potty without me even knowing it! Great Job Shadrach!!

I chose this picture because we also moved him upstairs to his own big boy bed! He loves it although he still needs to learn the art of just going to sleep. He's like his sister... likes to go to bed late and sleep in! So with 2 other boys in his room, he likes to hang out with them instead of sleeping!

Well I'm off to start some more spring cleaning... Stay tuned for that...

I didn't do any normal grocery shopping this week. If you missed my new grocery challenge you can read about it here. I am skipping 1 week each month to reduce my monthly grocery budget even more to $175.

I had to get some birthday presents, so we went to the town only 7 miles from us to do a quick Walmart run! Before we left I checked Hot Coupon World here to see what's free at Walmart.
